Amor Roma

Amor Roma emigrated to America following the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines, which left her family homeless.  She is a first-generation Filipina raised where roads were unpaved, surrounded by a large family, and was accustomed to using a "tabo" but preferred showering in the rain.

She overcame challenges and obstacles and became a non-traditional, first-generation college graduate, walking for her undergraduate ceremony days before delivering her first child. While also pregnant with her second child, she later earned  her master's degrees, including an MBA from a school overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu.

Her aversion to "online vomit," the term she uses to describe unfounded rants so pervasive throughout the internet, drove her to spearhead a blog as a platform to spread reliable information about everyday topics like family, education, food, and entrepreneurship.
